 It's rare for a fashion trend to have a significant impact on how women dress on a daily basis, but something seismic is happening this winter — and it's coming for your hosiery drawer.  
You may have just taken your black opaques out of storage, but the denier count is expected to be low in the coming months in fashionable circles. Sheer tights are back, despite being fine and prone to snagging. It's time to tell your legs they've got a new look.

This year, however, it's proving more difficult than ever to bear it all. Not only because of the dramatic drop in temperature but also because tights are becoming an increasingly appealing option. Without a doubt, our wardrobe's dullest addition is getting a makeover, with sheer, patterned, and polka-dot tights among the season's standout accessories.
