The much anticipated mini skirt is back for this years spring-summer season! Here at GIPSY, we're stoked about it! We have the perfect staples to dress up (or down) any miniskirt outfit, to add a pop of colour, texture, or just a classy and classic black tights look.
During this seasons fashion shows it looks like it is to be the return of the bodycon dress with rising hemlines, the midi dress and skirt style is taking a back seat. Louis Vuitton and several high-end designers featured midi skirts, micro skirts and slips dress similar to those of the '60s on the runway. Instagram is already full of them with both celebrities and influencers getting their hands on classic denim, bright colours, spice-girl style pastels and 60's bold patterns.
Even Grazia UK has been singing the mini skirt praises this week and sensibly suggesting to get in on the action now, and with weather dodgy constantly looming over in the UK a pair of tights is a necessity! "Gearing up to go bare-legged sometime between spring almost feels unthinkable in 2021, after so long spent bundled in leggings and sweatpants. We suggest easing yourself in with tights, gradually shedding their opaque protection when you feel the time is right!".
