Hosiery Trends at Fashion Week AW 2015-16
Many designers embraced hosiery in their
catwalk shows during Fashion Week back in February. We have selected the most prominent styles predicted to be popular next season:
Spots
Sheer spot tights were
paired with simple evening dresses at Diana von Furstenburg and gothic inspired outfits at Giles. This classy trend can be adopted with
our Dot Sheer Tights and Splash of Spot Tights.

The Seventies
The Seventies revival was still in full force, proving that this trend will follow on from Spring/Summer. Preen by Thornton Bregazzi used our Khaki 100 denier tights to complement their collection. The exact style seen here on the catwalk can be purchased here. Saint Laurent SS'15 and Etro paired brown tone sheers and semi-opaques with patchwork suede jackets and leather. Our sheer Luxury Tights would be perfect for achieving this look. Sonia Rykiel complemented suede and seventies silhouettes with grey knee and ankle socks.

Lace
The catwalks were awash with intricate lace patterns. A glamorous gothic approach was seen at Badgley Mischka whilst beautiful embellished lace was popular at Libertine. Delicate lace tights in blacks and browns complemented seventies inspired looks at Rebecca Minkoff. Get this look with our Flower Net Lace Tights and Vintage Seamed Lace Tights. Fishnet
Could Autumn/Winter 2015-16 see the return of the fishnet? This classic style was seen in many different forms - Proenza Schouler opted for an exaggerated cut-out net style, whilst a more classic, fine fishnet appeared at Vivienne Westwood Red Label. Giamba put patterned hosiery underneath fishnets and Saint Laurent complemented their signiture edgy look with ripped, fine fishnets. If you want to rock this trend, you'll be spoiled for choice with our fishnet tights, footless, hold ups and knee highs.

It's time to embrace colour! Brightly coloured opaque tights were paired with bold ensembles at Jeremy Scott, Honor and Paul Costelloe. Channel this trend with our 15 Denier Colour Gloss Tights, 40 Denier Opaque Tights and best-selling 100 Denier Opaque Tights – available in even more colours for Autumn/Winter.

Cosy Socks
Our feet will be thanking us next winter because the thick, cosy sock is back. Last year's socks and sandals trend has rubbed off again and we'll be seeing ankle and knee high styles teamed with every type of footwear. Keep an eye on our website for the launch of our new collection of cosy ankle socks.
